Reformer Move of the Week #2 | Draw The Sword + Tricep Variations
It's no secret I love a good muscle burn! Draw the sword is such a crucial exercise for literally, every body. While working the front and back of the shoulder, we hit all sorts of movement patterns that keep our shoulder girdle strong and mobile. Typically, if I know a client is normally lifting heavy objects, a child/or children or unilateral work, this exercise is a must! Strengthening the back of the shoulder helps keep our posture in check and the unilateral nature ensures we are isolating each side and avoiding any help from a dominate side. After draw the sword we just have all the fun with the back-to-back triceps. In each position be sure to turn on all your muscles for great stabilization, too!
